She has completed several national tours with theatre companies including Riding Lights and Northeast Producers, as well as filmed projects for The NSPCC and ITV. She now earns her money largely by singing at terrified children (she is a primary school music teacher!) and has recently discovered the joys of the London amdram scene. Favourite roles include Summer in original musical “Just Pretend” for PLOS, and Bridget in “Bring It On” for Centre Stage London.
Katie is delighted to be joining the Northern Corner team, and is very excited to be spending the summer in one of her favourite cities!
Will Garrood
By day Will is a digital producer at BBC Studios, but by night he can't help but take to the stage and has been since 2014! His performance highlights include Monty Wooley in "A Swell Party" at the Minack Theatre (SEDOS) and Bustopher Jones/Gus in "Cats: The Musical" (Centre Stage London). He is thrilled to be joining the citizens of Rothersdale and Northern Corner, and to be performing at Edinburgh Fringe.
Will Lambert
After over ten visits to Edinburgh it's about time Will brought a show of his own! Will has been making films since he was a teenager. Having written and directed a number of comedy shorts including the award-winning "Revenge A Paris", "There's No Mystery in Murder!" is Will's first play. Will has a Masters in Acting from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, with previous acting highlights including Vernon in "Vernon Godlittle" and William Bloor in "Foxfinder". He is delighted to be bringing the world of Rothersdale to Fringe audiences!
